Marangu Route – 5 Days 4 Nights

TOUR OVERVIEW

This trek is famous as a coca cola route since anybody around the word. Can rich to the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro because it’s one of the easy routes to climb through. There are two options to sleep either in bands as an accommodation or to camp with tents.

Day 1.

Marangu gate to mandala hurt.

Hike 4 to 6 hours on a tropical rain forest.

Early after breakfast our staff will pick you from your accommodation arusha or moshi to marangu gate for check in were you will meet your crumbing crew i.e. your guide cooks, and porters, After you will start to like through the trail along the tropical rain forest you will have an opportunity to experience some wild animal like monkeys and bird species. Hot lunch will be provided at mandala hut (2700m). Were overnight and dinner will provided as well.

Day 2.

Mandara hut to horombo hut.

Hike 5 to 6 hours on Montana forest to moorland zone.

After breakfast you will start to hike along a mountain forest approaching to moorland zone to horombo hut (3720m) were you will gate hot lunch with hot water for wash dinner and overnight at horombo hurt .

Day 3.

Horombo hut to kibo hut.

Hike to 8 hours on moorland zone to alpine desert.

After early breakfast you will start to like along moorland zones to alpine desert to kibo hurt (4700 m) for hot lunch overnight with dinner as well at kibo hut.

Day 4.

Kibo hut to uhuru peak.

Hike 6 to 7 hours on al pine desert and snow.

2400 after wake you will be provided a tea with hot water then start to like with your guide and some of crew members don’t afraid it takes some difficult to like on steep slope while some times mountain sickness due to high freezing on high altitude after 5 to 6 hours you will reach a glacier point then to Stella point (5685m) on the crater lim of the mountain you will proceed hiking on a snow covered trail or about 2 to 3 hours up to uhuru summit point and the peak you will start to descend back to kibo hut 3 to 4 hours for some rest A after having hot lunch you will continue descending back to horombo hut (3720m) for overnight and dinner.

Day 5.

Horombo hut to marangu exit gate.

4 to 5 hours descending to the exit gate.

After breakfast you’re like crew will have a song and dancing for you to congratulate so you tips to them after you will proceed descending to marangu exit gate mount Kilimanjaro national park authority will award a green certificate for those who manage to like up to Stella point (5685m) which is the highest point. After you will transfer to your accommodation for the next activity.
